This is the study we run most often. It is for HR directors, finance controllers, and general managers who must put a people story in front of a board, an owner, or a lender — and who currently have three spreadsheets that do not agree.

Who it is for

Organisations in Georgia with a payroll extract they can share, a unit structure someone still recognises, and a meeting on the calendar that will not wait for a new reporting system. Typical size is 80 to 800 people. Smaller firms are welcome when the question is still a board-level one; very large groups are scoped as a first cut of selected entities, not as a promise to draw every legal company in one pass.

The result you walk away with

A bound visual briefing: eight to twelve annotated charts, a notes booklet that states every definition we used (headcount versus FTE, which contracts count, which locations were rolled up), and a ninety-minute walkthrough. After the session you keep the PDF, the print pack if you asked for one, and a one-page “how to update these charts next year” sheet. You do not receive software, a login, or a feed that refreshes itself.

Scope — included

  • A written data request listing the columns we need from payroll or the HR file, and which personal names must be stripped before the file leaves your building.
  • A cleaning log: duplicate people, ghost cost centres, contractors sitting in the employee file, units that were renamed mid-year.
  • Charts covering current headcount and FTE by unit; joiners, leavers, and internal moves over 12 or 24 months; labour cost beside headcount; and span of control where the tree is sound enough to draw.
  • One draft review with the person who owns the numbers, then a live briefing for a small invited group.
  • Georgian and English chart labels if the packet will be read in both languages.

Scope — excluded

We do not change payroll, write queries inside your HR system, host a live picture of the workforce, or advise on individual dismissals. We do not produce legal opinions under the Labour Code of Georgia; if a chart raises a compliance question, we will say so in the notes and stop there.

Who does the work

Nino Kapanadze leads the study. Giorgi Beridze prepares the cleaning log and the labour-cost pages. Tamar Lomaia runs the briefing unless you ask for Nino specifically. All three work from Level 8, 24 Tsereteli Avenue, Tbilisi 0159.

Process

  1. Scoping conversation (about 40 minutes). You name the decision and the date.
  2. File list sent the same week. You extract; we do not take remote access.
  3. Cleaning and first charts (usually two weeks after a complete extract).
  4. Draft review with the numbers owner — corrections, caveats, units to hide.
  5. Final pack and the briefing week you reserved.

Duration and timing

Three to five weeks is typical once files arrive complete. A board date inside four weeks is sometimes possible for a smaller headcount and a single payroll source; we will say no rather than deliver a pack full of caveats.

Place and delivery

The briefing can be held in our Tsereteli Avenue studio, at your office in Georgia, or as an online walkthrough of the same pages. Print is included for studio and on-site sessions; online sessions receive PDF only unless you collect print in Tbilisi.

What you prepare

A payroll or HR extract covering at least twelve months, with a stable person identifier, unit, start date, leave date if any, contract type, and a labour-cost or salary field you are willing to share at a usable grain (individual or grade band). Names should already be removed. If grades changed during the year, send the mapping.

Constraints

We will not invent a unit structure you do not have. If half the file sits in “Other”, the charts will show “Other” until you give us a split. Seasonal and contractor mixes must be declared up front or they will distort movement rates.

Price

From 4,800 GEL for a single-entity organisation under 80 people with one source file. Larger headcount, several legal entities, or two years of messy history are quoted. A 30 percent deposit starts the cleaning week; the balance is due when you accept the draft pack, before the briefing. See Rates for how quotes are built.

Next step

Write to the studio with the board or budget date and a sentence about the files you hold. We reply within two working days with either a file list or an honest note that the date is too close.
